2026 Ford F-350: Release Date, Crew Cab, Limited, Lariat. The segment of 1-ton pickups is where manufacturers can show their engineering skills, instead of putting the focus on aesthetics, off-roading etc. This class is all about capabilities and that’s why the F-350 has always been one of our favorites. It doesn’t look flashy, the interior is rather simple, while base models aren’t generous with standard equipment at all. You may count on excellent working capabilities, powerful engine options and excellent ergonomics. The 2026 Ford F-350 will bring everything to the next level, considering that the update is on the way.
The upcoming refresh will bring a plethora of novelties, starting from the new styling. Big changes are coming on the inside as well, where we are about to see a larger infotainment screen and new software. Finally, we are about to see some novelties in terms of available and standard features, organization of equipment groups etc.
The 2026 Ford F-350 should hit the market sometime in the second half of the year.
2026 Ford F-350 Engines
The engine lineup definitely remains the same. Base models will continue with a good-old 6.2-liter V8, which puts out 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque and comes in pair with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Also, there is a new 7.3-liter V8 Godzilla, which puts out around 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
Finally, the third and most capable option is a well-known 6.6-liter turbodiesel. It puts out around 475 horsepower and 1.050 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission and provides some really impressive numbers in terms of towing. Versions equipped with the fifth wheel and gooseneck hitch can tow up to 37.000 pounds.
2026 Ford F-350 Redesign
When it comes to base design characteristics, things won’t change too much. The current generation has been around for about four years and it still has a lot of job to do until gets retired and replaced with the new one. Of course, it is based on the standard half-ton pickup, but also comes with significant updates. This particularly refers to the suspension setup, which provides impressive results in terms of towing and hauling.
Styling-wise, the 2026 Ford F-350 will be pretty interesting. We are about to see a facelift and, of course, the focus will be on the front end. There, we are about to see new headlights, grille, bumper etc. All these parts will be aligned with the brand’s new design language. There is a new color option in the offer, called Atlas Blue, as well as a new visual package called Lariat Sport. This package includes a color-matched grille, bumpers, and exterior mirrors etc.
Interior
There is no doubt that the biggest novelty on the inside is a new 12.0-inch touchscreen, which also comes with new software that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Base models will remain rudimental and continue with a small non-touchscreen interface, while a familiar 8.0-inch unit will remain standard in mid-range options. We have to mention new interior color schemes, reserved for the Lariat trim, Navy Pier and Light Slate.
The rest of the cabin will remain the same. You may count on the same layout and same cab styles in the offer. You can choose between typical layouts– single, extended and crew cab models, as well as between two bed sizes, 6.8- or 8.2-foot boxes.
Trim Levels Even though there are some novelties in terms of standard and available equipment, the trim level will remain the same. Therefore, base XL models will continue as typical workhorses, with small non-touchscreen infotainment, manual door locks and other accessories, vinyl upholstery, steel wheels and bumpers etc.
The XLT will be a slight upgrade, with the addition of a touchscreen interface, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure automatic and alert emergency braking. Of course, the well-known Lariat name will remain reserved for a perfect mid-range option, which adds goodies like a 10-speaker B&O sound system, leather-trimmed seats and an 8-inch instrument screen.
As always, the King Ranch will be characterized by exclusive styling details, as well as more standard equipment, including heated and ventilated front seats, unique leather trim etc. Finally, Platinum and Limited trim levels will continue as the most luxurious variants of this truck, with loads of standard equipment and several unique styling details.
