The new 2025 Subaru Outback will most likely return with the same engines as before and there are two options. This engine works with a continuously variable transmission and comes with all-wheel drive system as standard.The optional engine is a 3.6-liter flat-6 which can develop 256 hp and 247 pound-feet of torque. This unit also pairs with a CVT and all-wheel drive configuration is standard.
