Since the Ford Ecosport is the all-new model for 2018, the 2025 model year will come with two engine versions as the outgoing model. The EPA ratings of this engine are 27 mpg in the city, 29 mpg on the highway, and 28 mpg combined.The more powerful engine is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine which has the output of 166 hp and the torque of 149 lb-ft. This powertrain gets 23 mpg in the city, 29 mpg on the highway, and 25 mpg combined.
2025 Ford Ecosport Exterior and interior design
The 2025 Ford Ecosport will feature the same styling as the 2018 model year. The Ecosport looks like a smaller version of the Ford Escape and it is the smallest SUV in the brand’s lineup. The Ford Ecosport shares some similar design cues with the Chevy Trax and Mercedes GLA.The interior of the 2025 Ford Ecosport is able to welcome up to five passengers. The Ecosport offers the cargo room of 20.9 cubic feet.
2025 Ford Ecosport Features and safety
The 2025 Ford Ecosport will be available in S, SE, SES, and Titanium trim levels. The base S will come standard with cloth, 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise control, Bluetooth, two USB ports, a rearview camera, and an AM/FM audio system. The remote start and AWD will be optional.The Ecosport SE will add automatic climate control, steering-wheel audio and phone controls, reverse parking sensors, satellite radio, keyless ignition, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. An 8.0-inch touchscreen, navigation, and blind-spot monitors will be optional. The Titanium will include leather upholstery, navigation, 8.0-inch touchscreen, 17-inch wheels, Bang & Olufsen audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.As for the safety, all the models will have a rearview camera, reverse parking sensors, and blind-spot monitors. Surround-view cameras, forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and automatic emergency braking won’t be available in the Ford Ecosport.
2025 Ford Ecosport Release date and price
The 2025 Ford Ecosport might arrive early next year, but it is not yet confirmed. The price of the current model starts at around $21,000 and the 2025 model year might be slightly more expensive.
