The carmaker has just revealed the next generation of its popular SUV, the X5 model. The 2025 BMW X5 has also been announced and this time it is expected to get a plug-in hybrid engine under its hood. In the terms of exterior design, the current model has just been refreshed, so we sincerely doubt that it will get some changes this time.
2025 BMW X5 Engines and performance
Under the hood of the new 2025 BMW X5 will be placed several types of engines. The one is going to be a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbocharged engine which is able to make 340 horses and the torque of 330 pound-feet. This unit can reach 60 mph in only 5.3 seconds and has the top speed of maximum 150 mph.In the X5 xDrive50i model, it is able to develop 456 horses and 479 lb-ft of torque. For the 2025 model year, we are hoping to see a plug-in hybrid engine which is expected to have an all-electric range of around 40 miles. Or at least, we will see it in the 2025 model year.
2025 BMW X5 Design of exterior and interior
The 2019 model year has been refreshed with the new design of the front fascia and more pronounced appearance, so for the 2025 BMW X5, we don’t expect any large changes. The standard model will ride on the 19-inch alloy wheels and the 20-inch M-branded wheels will be optional.Inside the cabin, the 2025 BMW X5 is more spacious than before and comes with two rows of seats while the third row is optional. Behind the second row, the X5 offers the cargo room of 33.9 cubic feet while with the second row folded done, it expands to 72.3 cubes.
2025 BMW X5 standard and optional features
The standard equipment of the 2025 BMW X5 will include keyless entry, power features, wood trim, LED headlights, automatic climate control, navigation, synthetic leather seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, power tilt/telescope steering, heated front seats, and 19-inch wheels. The X5 will also be offered with several optional packages including a Convenience package, Dynamic Handling package, a Premium, and so on.
2025 BMW X5 Release date and price
The new 2025 BMW X5 might be presented sometime at the end of the next year. The price is still not revealed, but the price of the current model begins at around $60,700.
