2025 GMC Canyon Denali Redesign, Colors, Release Date. The updated 2025 GMC Canyon Denali is reportedly in the works. General Motors plans to provide a nice facelift to its famous pickup truck, so we expect plenty of updates. Canyon managed good sales in the last couple of years. It is basically a fancier version of the Chevy Colorado model. When it comes to mechanical setup, the two models are almost identical.
On the other hand, Canyon is a more stylish and more modern model. The 2025MY will once again offer three powertrain options, including a diesel unit and a potent gasoline V6. The sales will begin by the end of 2025 and here’s everything we know about the new Canyon pickup truck.
Powerful V6 Offered As Standard Engine Option
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2025 GMC Canyon Denali will once again offer the same three engines. This means a 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit with 200 hp is once again a standard engine option in the regular Canyon pickup. This output is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Optional 3.6-liter V6 is a much better choice and is standard in the Denali trim. Potent V6 generates 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque.
With this powertrain, Canyon can tow up to 7,000 pounds. Still, the best part about this engine lineup is the diesel powertrain option. It is a 2.8-liter turbodiesel that can produce up to 181 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of twisting power. Canyon tows 7,700 pounds with a diesel engine and the same six-speed automatic transmission.
2025 Canyon Denali Facelift
New 2025 GMC Canyon Denali is a mid-size pickup truck that offers plenty of premium stuff. It is an attractive model with a recognizable design language. The front fascia is closer to the GMC Sierra truck and its front section. For a mid-size model, everything looks rugged, including the larger grille. Generally, the front part looks more sculpted than before and it comes with impressive LED running lights.
Thanks to the flared fenders, this model also adds a more muscular appearance. Still, this model is about luxury so 20-inch wheels and polished exhaust tips are perhaps the exterior highlights. If you are a fan of off-roading adventures, the AT4 trim offers additional equipment, more ground clearance, and much more.
Interior Updates
The interior will gain some updates, but we can’t call these updates significant. The 2025 GMC Canyon Denali will gain more quality materials and minor tech updates. The comfort will be even better now and a new infotainment system is reportedly the best one so far.
Once again, the current model comes with a 8-inch touchscreen and we think this unit will be available. A larger optional display is a possibility, according to some reports. New driver-assistance aids will be in the offer, but all of them will be optional in the entry-level trims.
2025 GMC Canyon Denali Release Date, Price
The upcoming 2025 GMC Canyon Denali will hit the dealerships in the last quarter of 2025. If the COVID-19 pandemic prolongs, then don’t be surprised if Canyon arrives in the first quarter of 2025. Updates are not so significant, so the price should once again start at around $27,000 for the base trim level. The Denali trim level will surely cost slightly above $40,000.
