This time it will most likely arrive with the new hybrid powertrain for the first time. And this model should hit the market as the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid.
2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid engine and performance
The 2025 model year is expected to get with its familiar 4-cylinder engines, but it is very likely that the carmaker will bring the hybrid engine also to the United States. The newest 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid should use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine in a combination with an electric motor.On the other hand, the standard model will return with the same engines and there are two options. The second is a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine. Both engines are mated to a continuously variable transmission.

The CR-V SUV has been completely revised in 2017, so the 2025 version won’t get any changes now. The higher trim levels will add a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat which is very comfortable even at longer rides.The standard equipment in the base LX model includes Bluetooth, automatic climate control, audio system with four speakers, a 5.0-inch color screen, a rearview camera, and cruise control. The hybrid version is expected to be offered in EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels. The EX trim comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen with infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay connectivity, keyless ignition, a power moonroof, an extra USB, and a 12-way power driver’s seat.
2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Release date and price
Even it is not yet officially confirmed, the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid should appear sometime at the end of this year. The price is expected to be in a range of $25,000 to $35,000 depending on a trim level.
